FSSI Bowling

In the Spring of 2023, Franchise Senior Sports welcomed its first sponsored bowling team, MO’ Strikes to the organization. Besides bowling competitively in their leagues, they have competed as a team and individually in a number of tournaments, such as the Missouri USBC Open Tournament, and the St. Louis USBC Senior Open Tournament. Our female team members also competed in the Midwest Women’s Tournament, the USBC Women’s National Championships and the Arc Lanes TenPin Tournament. Special Congrats to Cheryl Watts (left picture with blue ball), the 2023 St. Louis USBC Senior Open Tournament champion in the 70+ division and a 50+ Pins Medal winner, and Tommie Jones, Sr. (left picture, third from the left, 2nd row) 50+ Pins Medal winner in the 2023 Senior Open Tournament.

2024 Bowling Season – The 2024 winter season didn’t turn out as successful as we would have liked due to injuries, recovery from surgeries and work demands, but we bowled well in the Missouri USBC Open Tournament and St. Louis USBC Senior Open Tournament. And cashed $$$! Congratulations to Darrell Jefferson, for a 300 game this season and a 10th place finish in the Sr. Open, Tommie Jones for a 50+ Pins medal and 3rd place finish in the Sr. Open, and Cheryl Watts for a 50+ Pins Medal and 2nd place finish in the Sr. Open. Congrats also to the ladies finishing 116th place in the USBC Women’s National Championships. Looking forward to the start of the 2024-2025 Winter leagues!
